We lived in Chicago for over 40 years prior to moving to SWFL a few years ago, and we owned a vacation home here for several years so were clients of home watch and home concierge services ourselves. We tried a few different service providers over the years while we were seasonal residents and decided after moving here full-time that we wanted to start our own home watch business to spend more time together as a family doing work we enjoyed while also striving to offer a high-quality, professional service to our fellow community members down here in the best part of the country!
I remember one time about five years ago we had our home watch provider come by for a weekly visit and got the dreaded phone call that our dishwasher was leaking all over the place. It was the worst feeling knowing we had a problem but were over a thousand miles away and couldn’t do anything about it. Thankfully because we used home watch, we were able to catch the problem quickly before it ruined our floors and walls in the kitchen.
Knowing that we are now the ones on the other end of that phone line, at our clients’ homes to protect them and provide peace of mind - it feels great. We are blessed to be able to have a job that we love.
